For the needs of a big chain supermarket we delivered at different places-storesย  modified containers adjusted at the meters required in order to feet in place. We also put windows for clean air.ย  At two of theย  stores in Kalamata and Nafplio we also constructed some metal bases in order to fit the height of the container with the loading ramps. Following our client’s order we installed a side door , using the side panel of the shipping container in order to decrease the total cost and create something that is uniform and practical.ย  In this way we managed to fulfill the needs of our client and he could have his old warehouse next to the new one just by opening a door..

We converted 2x40ft containers into insulated warehouses by placing 3cm thick polyurethane panels on the sides and roof of each container.ย Then we placed chequered (steel) plateย laid over the top of the pre-existing plywood floor as our customer requested, making the floor extremely durable and fire safe. The result is impressive and you can see it in the photos above.

In order to meet a customer’s needs for the construction of his home, the primary workstations in 3x40ft high-cube containers include cutting one to about 9 meters and placement of corrugated steel sheet on the back, using the remaining 3 meters as a small warehouse after installing the back side in a similar way.

The other 2 containers were used in a vertical formation. The containers are ready to be transported to the area where their modification will continue to complete the construction of the house. Further work involves placing containers on site with crane, installing window & window frames and insulation inside & outside the premises to make them habitable.
